Jailer 2 is an Indian Tamil-language action comedy film written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. It is produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures. A sequel to Jailer (2023), the film stars Rajinikanth reprising his role as the titular character, alongside Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu and Mirnaa Menon reprising their roles, with S. J. Suryah, ing the cast. Shiva Rajkumar and Nandamuri Balakrishna make guest appearances, with the former reprising his role.

Prior to the release of the original film in 2023, Nelson expressed interest in making sequels to his films. In September 2024, the director confirmed a sequel to Jailer, while Sun Pictures officially announced the project in January 2025. Principal photography commenced that March in Chennai. The film will have music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Vijay Kartik Kannan and editing by R. Nirmal.
