His birthday coincides with Valentine's Day, so Actor Andrey Da! embodies the traits of an Aquarius. He was adopted his unique pseudonym as an homage to a character in the Richard Kelly film Southland Tales (2006) and to simplify his name for better pronunciation, using an exclamation mark to emphasize the positive message of his personal brand-name.

His family background is steeped in the arts. Andrey's roots trace back to relatives involved in theater, music, and dance, including his aunt's association with the 'Russian Academic Youth Theatre' (RAMT), grandmothers to 'Tiflis Imperial Theater' and his great uncles' contributions to philharmonics, circus and unique musical instruments.
