Biography
KP Kumaran was an Indian, malayalam language filmmaker who have played an integral role in modernizing malayalam cinema along with other prominent names like KG George, Parajan, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Bharathan and G Aravindan. Kumaran's debut directorial short film 'Rock' won an international award in the 1972 'Asia 72' film festival.
